installing a cb radieo

hay i have a cb lying around and want to install it, ive never had a cb in a car and just want to know if anyone has done it? wiring wise is it easy? also do i have to drill a hole to fit an aerial? their is magnetic aerials, but really id prefer the non magnetic as i could tuck the co axle away and not have to run it through the window.
