what rcd 510 will go into my 2007 without probs

hi ive got a 2007 b6 with a rcd 300 mp3 fitted id like either the rcd 310 dab or the 510 but have heard stories of the draining of the battery problems , im wanting to know what seiral numbers to get that dont drain the battery i know there is a few , the google search for this issue is like a mine field with this issue i cant really get an answer , anyone got a 510/310 dab?
