2/3 way speakers with standard tweeters

Hi all
im looking to upgrade my speakers in my 2004 b5.5 if i install some 2 way speakers something like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-PA ... SwBLlVdMxQ will my standard tweeters still work? i will be using this speaker adapter plug http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161099866893? ... EBIDX%3AIT
also if i install 3 way speakers will my standard tweeters still work
