Sat nav sd cards.

My RNS310 is fitted with the V4 sd card.
If I change it for a V8 sd card, can I expect quite alot of difference?
Using the V4, it picks up my place that was built about 12 years ago but not some roads that were made about 2 years ago.
Will the V8 find these?
