I went to vw yesterday to get a new base because vagcom reports a short circuit well my legs went when he said £104 so this got me thinking if the booster is causing the fault bypass it so i desoldered the inner core from the board attached a new piece in and connected that to the bottom of the bit that holds the mast and the radio is ten times better try it.just thought i should post this as ive had loads of help on here in the past and its good for peeps that are skint like me cheers.
