Just bought a 1998 Passat.
Its in well ... rubbish condition ... but its all cosmetic stuff. The engine is sound and its very comfy.
I have a list of stuff to be done before I start getting it looking nice.
okay ... so its a 1.8 20v
its got 98k on the clock and has a full comprehensive VW service history
Now the stuff needing sorted/ things im going to do
1. Replace all the suspension bushes as its feeling a bit wallowy
2. slight coolant leek needing repaired
3. Damage to rear quarter repaired
4. new wing
5. new wheels
6. abs sensors fitted (got with the car)
7. Get dad to recover seats in Leather ... love the fact he's an upholsterer
then its on to modifying it
