had my new ( new to me )Passat for a couple of weeks now and enjoying it so far.
Its a 2010 2.0 TDI estate, the Highline model.My first diesel and I am impressed with the way it goes and the mpg.
Previously had a Volvo V40 (2002 reg) from new and felt it was time for a change.I have to say the V40 went round corners a lot better than the Passat but that is my only real criticism so far.
There is a strange 'groaning' noise coming out of the steering wheel housing when the steering wheel is turned at low speed /parking which needs sorting .
Its not going to do a lot of miles as I also have a couple of other cars ( '74 Beetle and a '90 Lotus Elan ) but I think its going to make a good daily runner.
