My name is Ashley I live in Essex. I have just purchased my first VW, I have got myself a Passat Sport TDI 140 2.0 57 plate.

After three years of ownership I had finally had enough with the poor paint quality and poor build quality of the dash so decided to go German.
I have had the VW now since Saturday (20/04/2013) and I have to say I am really impressed. The build quality is really good and it drives brilliantly.
I have never owned a VW or a diesel or a car with a turbo before so its many firsts for me.
I have already booked the car in for a few things like a full service, cruise control install, injector recall and the cam belt being replaced (should have been done already!)
I am also trying to decide between a Parrot Mki9200 (which I have had before) or just splash some cash and fit a Kenwood DNX521DAB.
The car is in really good condition minus corrosion on the alloys, again I am wondering whether to buy new VW alloys (different style) or just refurb them
Anyway, looking forward to being a part of this forum and hopefully a happy ownership of my B6.
