New to Passats. Used to driving company cars. Covid 19 put paid to that and my job.
... So...... Had to buy my own car. Bought a B5 diesel estate auto. For £300. Absolute bargain....... 
It has typical faults of this car which is ok.Central locking is hit and miss.
front wings are rusty.
Brake pads warning light on dash.
Washer fluid low warning light, (now cured).
Air-con' doesn't get cold.
But apart from that, it is a sound car........ £300
Anyway, I will, hopefully with your help on here, will fix the above, (when fiscally viable).
So, I will thank you all in advance.
