I have been given a 2008 VW Passat 1.9 TDi 105 B6 with 183,000 miles. It has an MOT and tax until December. Fully comp insurance was expensive at £500 on restricted mileage of 5,000 per year. Almost everything works on it, except for the wing mirrors which appear to be fixed, no reversing sensors and the A/C has been gassed, no leaks and no pressure. The headlights could be brighter. I expect I will find some of the answers by exploring and searching the archives plus trying to understand the how to sections. There is no owner’s handbook manual but I do have the Haynes workshop book.
