Most of you who've been around since Ant got UK Passats on the go will know I was a dyed in the wool Passat driver but,after having a coupla weeks with a B6 170Tdi Sport I decided I wasn't keen on the model and started to look around what was around the market place that met my needs.Anyway I ended up with a Mk5 Golf 2.0 SE tdi variant with options.I know most of the VW range nowadays is very similar in suspension steering etc but,the Mk5 just felt so much better that the B6.
I've now had the Mk5 over 4 months and as usual I've been pissing about with it changing a few things to suit me and here's how it's looking at the moment.I have no doubt a few other things will change over the coming months but,I'm fairly happy with it meantime.
