After selling my 306 for a tidy profit I moved over to the VW scene in Jan 2010 when I purchased my 1999 VW Passat B5 1.8T SE.
When I bought it it was pretty standard. The first thing that I did was to fit my DAB radio and give it a good (well needed) detail.
Once the essentials had been completed I moved on to the more expensive things.
Next fitted was a forge split-r dv, followed by some standard Merc alloys and then lowered it on hot tuning coilovers.
A couple of months later I replaced the standard grill with a badgeless grill and de-badged the rear. I then fitted some depo projector headlamps with hid kit and smoked side repeaters. I fitted a boost gauge to monitor how the engine was performing, wind deflectors and lastly added a set of eBay 'specials' pressed plates.
