Hi Guys -- just joined -- I have three B2's, an 81 GL5 hatch that I've had since about '83. It's a NZ new car so missed out on some options to keep the retail price down, hence it has the 1.9 carb motor, 3 speed auto and no power steering. The '84 is a pommie import, brought out by a family that moved here. It has the 2.0 injected motor, manual with power steer. I also have another hatch, an '87 (another pommie import). It's a budget model with fake fog lamps and manual windows, but it's got a good injected motor. My old man had one of the 1st VW Kombies in NZ in the late 1950's, my sister had a Beetle. BTooz, just love them !
