B2 Passat warning light.......

B2 Passat with Golf type engine..........I have a flashing warning light on the dash, and I can find nothing in the hand book as to what it is!, On the 8 lights grouped in the middle of the instrument cluster, it's a red flashing one on the bottom row, one from the right [the one below the oil light] It's only just come on, and I've got no idea what it signifies. The car is wired for 7 pin caravan electrics, if that helps........!
