I've a 2.8 4motion on which the engine management light cam on a few days ago. Went for a diagnostic check at a local indy who couldn't see anything wrong physically and they said fault codes weren't helpful - so they reset everything, the light went away (it's the exhaust / engine warning light) and drove OK for the next 2 days. Car's running hasn't been affected before or after the rest.
But the warning light came on again yesterday - I can't keep making a 70 mile round trip to the garage for them just to reset it !
Does anyone have VAGCom that they could help me with (I'm in Glastonbury) ? Need to get the problem pinned down.
