Well i sold my trusted 1.8t as needed something a little more frugal and i've managed to find a 1.9td SE for sale.
Not sure what engine output is if its PD or the Red I etc. Find out more when i get there to see it tonight.
But as rule of thumb, are there any things specific to the B5 tdi that i need to be aware of.
I've got all the usual. Oil, Water leaks, contamination etc. Turbo. Suspenion bump, rattles, jolts etc. Gearbox/clutch issues. Drainage hole issue/CCM causing electrical faults with windows, locks etc. Is there anything else i have to be looking for that may be specifc to this model that i haven't seen before?
Any hints or tips would be widely appreciated. Can't wait to get behind the wheel of another passat, its only been 1 week and im missing it already!!!
Cheers
