Swimming pool in rear footwell

Tonight i decided to have a look at my wet rear passagnger foot well and it was soaked there was like 2 liters of water soak up in the carpet and lining and had to get a shammy to soak all the water up took the passagnger seat out then ended up taking the whole carpet out drivers seat rear seats center consal the only thing that i put back in was my drivers seat. Going to let the carpet dry out a little and fix the problem this really shouldnt happen i think im lucky i havent had any eleectrical problems it was as my tittle like a swimming pool in there so bad going to go vw tomorrow have a moan i dont expect this from a vw car
