heavy black smoke

been noticing lots of smoke in rear view mirror recently so i decided to get a friend to drive the car around whilst i watched and noticed the smoke is very thick and black not blue or grey so oil is no issue but it smells very strong of diesel. The car was at 89deg through vag com to it wasnt cold by any manor i have no boost leak but the turbo does sound very noisy and seems to limp alot (boost pressure positive deviation) ive checked all pipe work and there is no signs of leakage the only common pipe i have not really checked is turbo to intercooler but it looks ok no oil residue so i am sort of at a dead end

also for some sort of comparison the amount of smoke being put out would be like having a very heavy remap but not constant it thins out at time.
