bad start to passat life

i got my passat from a dealer on the 6th april 2013 and drove it the 180 mile home. then about 6-7 days later i noticed a big problem on my way to asda limp mode after 70. so i took it into my local vw garage to have a diagnostics test and a visual inspection.

a few hours later they came back with a big list of things:
1. advise- brake fluid change, air-con service, cambelt water pump and tensioner and fan belt worn (only as it has no history as to when they were last done)
price quoted = £610

2. new discs and pads, new front tyre (i know about these as they where on the mot)
price quoted = £346

3. oil leak from engine area needs new egr valve, both intercooler pipe seals leaking needs new ones, o/s/f washer jet poor, vacuum hoses at turbo/egr valve worn needs new ones and two faults stored in the car memory need sorting (these are the things that i didnt know about and are causing me a problem i.e limp mode)
