Do B6 Monte Carlo alloys fit a B5.5?

Do B6 Monte Carlo alloys fit a B5.5?
I want new wheels for my B5.5 Highline. I have seen a set of 17" Monte Carlo alloys for sale locally (JK's!), does anyone know if they are a straight fit? I have tried to search for info as I havent seen many B5.5's with these wheels and the only results I have found mention the use of spacers. I dont really want to faff around with spacers etc , I just want an easy fix! My car is on 35mm lowered springs too.
