Key fobs lost it's range

Hi all.

My key fobs lost it's range, it did a while back so I just assumed the battery had died (only worked with 2ft of the car)

So I started to use my other key until I replace the battery, the other key worked from a good 10 ft away. I have now replaced the battery in the other key and it still only works from about 2 ft away.

I have got Duracell batteries so the quality isn't exactly bad.

Can anyone help me please?
