diesel leak

diesel leak
So I've had my b5.5 wagon for little over a week now and appart from the coolant issue. Which I knew about its.been brilliant but yesterday was pay.day so I brimmed the tank for the first time since ive had it and it's leaking diesel from somwere at the rear of the car, I've not had a chance to inspect as I was on the way to work but is there a common thing that can cause this?
