So i got some HID's and tested them to be ok (another thread)
I was advised to cut the metal retaining clip with a dremel (that twists the bulb into place) to allow the wires of the HID. However the clip is no longer strong enough to do the job and distorts when twisted, no way will it hold it in place.
Just to clarify the HID's are entirely plastic and I saw the metal / ceramic ones after purchasing.
Any way forward or am I looking at returning the set?
