18" or 19" wheels?

Back to pick your brains again lads!

I've got a price from a local alloy wheel seller which I am happy and will be buying my new wheels on my next pay day. The only problem is that I am torn between the RS6 and RS4 and whether I should go for the 18" or 19".

I want to lower the car by 40mm and would like to know your thoughts on which would sit better in the arches with the slight lowering.

I thought I was decided on the RS6 but after seeing the RS4 Nouvolari I am now stuck for a decision.

FYI - The guy quoted me £650 for the RS6 19", £490 for the RS6 18" and £750 for the RS4 Nouvolari 19" package.

Springs will also be ordered on pay day, if you want to give any thoughts on which to buy your thoughts would be more than welcome. The car is a 2002 TDI Sport.
