Hello all just looking for some info as just been offered a TDI (red DI)i think 2000 plate passat.Its got 173,000 on the clock with some service history,Tax and MOT for six months.Interior and exterior are clean enough with one small rust patch on rear arch.Drives fine though clutch feels a little high and was told will need cambelt soon but have friends in the trade.Basically the guy is my hairdresser and have known him for one year so trust what he says aboout car.I can get it for £500.Im new to passats but thought this was a good price.Is it worth it?Appreciate any input,thanks
