Boot Lamp

Hi there, I am having an issue with the interior lamp in the boot of my B5 estate. The bulb is fine but i cant get power it the holder. Any ideas where the switch is for it as i cant see anything obvious around the boot itself? Also does the lamp normally come on with the other courtesy lights?
