Pela 6000 Oil Change

Bought me one of these Pela 6000 Oil Extractors, what a great idea I thought. Just did an oil change and on the first use the tubing has split in a few places - going down the dipstick tube I found that to extract all the oil you needed feed the piping through the very slight resistance at the bottom, obviously bending the piping slightly, no big deal I thought, but it's absolutely destroyed it. Had to bodge the splits with electrical tape to get the remainder of the oil out. Not impressed - but today has been full of bad luck so not too surprised. Will be contacting the supplier for a replacement, very fimsy. Anyone else had issues or an I just unlucky / an idiot?
