What bulbs to buy?

Hi Guys,
I've got a 1999 B5 and want to get some better bulbs, mine are very yellow.
Only want to upgrade bulbs due to lack money & not being able to afford hids etc.
Can someone tell me the best ones available at a decent price, there are so many on ebay don't know where to start.
