B5 tdi smoking

Post by danozeman »

Evening chaps. Iv got a B5 tdi afn. When i accelerate sometimes it smokes. I dont think it is unburnt fuel as when u drive behind it it smells a bit oily. It doesnt do it all the time. Now my airflow meter is dodgey. Bought one from gsf today went to fit it and its wrong so wil do that tomorrow.

Are they prone to turbo seals at highish mileage? I dont see then engine being worn enough to burn oil.
