B5 Turbo Help Please

Hi guys,
I have a B5 AEB engined 1.8T VW passat and I am looking to swap the turbo over for a T28 turbo I have picked up from a Nissan Pulsar GTiR, I secured a T4 manifold for the passat on fleabay, so that part is fine, bango pipes and feeds all ok, but I have become stumped with the down pipe exhaust flange, I know some peeps have been running this turbo conversion and I wondered if you have any advice on suppliers of the flange or if you know of a work around so I can get the car up and running, the down pipe flange on the supplied turbo is cast iron so we cant weld it...
I think this is going to be the last stumbling block before major power!
