Help, i'm drowning!!!!

Just drove back from leicester in the rain and ive taken in large quantities of water, its flooded the whole passenger side.

I have noticed alot of water collecting aroung the battery and brake master cylinder which i dont recall seeing before.

Do the passats suffer from blocked drain holes/tubes?

any info would be great.
