Losing steering fluid from rack

It's a B5.5 20vt and fluid is leaking (alot!) from the end of the offside gaitor.

Guessing this is the internals of the rack failed?

Ok so assuming that the rack is shot, how difficult/how long to change the rack? and are there other parts I should change whilst I'm there?

Guessing I do an exchange of my one with a recon unit?
