Pd130 oil filter paranoia...

Changed oil n filter and gave the old girl shell helix 507 stuff and Bosch filter. Noted that the filter had 'top' marked on one end . Not sure if my old one did do now paranoid I had installed the old one upside down.. What would the consequences be?
