Bit of advice needed please, I have a b5 tdi estate and struggle to get over 39mpg!
The car is new to me and I bought it with a blown turbo, it's a pd115 and I fitted a pd130 turbo to it, also I have fitted a darkside egr delete apart from that it is totally standard.
The rear drivers side brake binds slightly, I am changing it soon but I can only imagine that would affect mpg a slight bit? Also today the car didn't wanna start almost as though it had no fuel, after about 20 seconds it fired up and has been fine since but I reckon I should change the fuel filter at least.
When I fitted the egr delete should I have cleaned out the pipework when it was off? because I didn't....
Aside from the stuff listed above is there anything obvious that could be losing me approximately 15mpg???
