Emissions workshop - how to clear

Hi My my TDi 130 has deisplayed the 'Emissions Workshop' for a while, but, has never effected its performance in any way, just beeps and engine light on, at a recent service I replaced the EGR and the temp sensor at the front lwr RHS, (but now think I replaced the wrong sensor ! !) but still cant clear the codes and about 100 yards up the road the warning and the light came back - Any thoughts ....... would anyone near Bath be able to VAG the car??? - Thanks Tara
