Boot lock - Handle not working

Howdy All
It appears that my boot handle is no longer workign. Can still open it form the button on the key just not from the handle on the boot.
Any one seen this before ?
I presume the lock mech is fine and it's whatever switch in the handle activates it when pressed that is at fault ?

Is there much to gettign in there to have a lok ?

I seem to remember seeing apost somewhere about removing the inside boot tail gate cover - anyone got this to hand ?
