AVF Timing belt advice.... Please help

I have just had a look to see which type of tensioner I have on my AVF. Mines the 2001 model so it looks like it has the older tensioner with the hydraulic damper part underneath it.

I am wondering wether people replace the tensioner damper when changing the cambelt.

Or do you normally just get the kit with the new tensioner pulley?

Car is on 140k miles if this helps?

Just looking at a Gates kit with water pump on the AutoDoc website and wondering which to buy
