The Correct Power Steering Fluid to use

So I think I've just messed up and put the wrong PSF in.
I decided to do a nice flush of the system, bobbed along to Halfrauds as I have a trade card. Chose a bottle of PSF fluid, as the other fluid CHF didn't state it was for power steering systems.
Flushed the system, all good. Now I'm reading that it should be CHF and both PSF
WTF?
Do I need to redo with CHF. Also did my mates Mk4 Golf with the same...
