12v Sockets. Permanently live?

Hi All.

Does anyone know if I can make the 12v sockets permanently live. i.e. stay on when key removed.

No smoker so no lighters used here.

I'm after a simple resolution if possible.

I also have the Media Interface in the glove box with a USB lead from this I was hoping to use as a charger. I have replaced the head unit with an aftermarket china android unit.. lovely.... I assume this is why the usb cannot be used as a charge cable?
