Its a 1.6TDi S estate with a bit of a poverty spec, but it was the best I could get with my company car allowance.

Blinds in the rear doors (for the kids)

Smoking pack (i dont smoke but use a SNav and kids DVD players in the back)
First impressions? well, after doing 100k in my last Passat (a 2008 B6 1.9 TDi S estate), this seems quicker (yes, you read that right), has a much better spec in S form, looks much much nicer and is sooooooo much more economical.
The main improvements in the spec of the B6 S is:
Stop/start Tech
Elec rear windows
Speakers in the rear (which amazingly the B6 didnt have!)
Over 100k miles, the B6 avaeraged 52mpg; Im quite a conservative driver and anally recorded the mean mpg every month for 36 months.
On a like-for-like journey the B6 returned 56mpg, while the B7 returns nearer 64mpg! I'm really looking forward to the next 99.5k miles!
Went to Abersoch at the weekend, and 5 up, boot full, 400L roofbox on and not sparing the horses (80+ all the way home on the A55) she averaged 52mpg!
