Faint noise coming from the compressor (maybe?)

I own a Passat B7 (2011) and it has been a while since I hear this faint rubbing noise (https://youtu.be/6jhYxMLIfRA) which disappears as soon as I turn the AC on (https://youtu.be/Q2WLlmtlLfA). I was told that it is the compressor (Delphi 5N0 820 803A) but I am not very convinced since the compressor internal parts are not engaged when AC is off. I checked the compressor clutch today and the pulley bearings but they seem OK. I changed the belt tensioner because it was nearly gone and I was hoping it was the problem, but unfortunately the noise is still there. I can barely hear the noise outside the car but I can feel the vibrations if I touch the pipe coming out/in from/to the compressor.
