Hi folks, back on the forum for the first time in nearly six years since I sold my B3 and B4 estates.
I've got a question from my boss about his 2014 B7 - it's a 2.0TDi Bluemotion, and he's come to me this morning saying that the interior lights by the rear view mirror keep randomly coming on. Strangest bit is that he says they go off when he puts his foot on the brake!
My thoughts are that there's some water got into the electrics somewhere and it's caused a short, but no idea where. He did have the rear discs and pads changed this week, so could it be anything to do with the electric handbrake? Maybe the loom to each caliper?
I'm at a bit of a loss to be honest, and I know it's driving him nuts driving a 60 mile round trip every day with the interior light going on and off!
