I'll start this..

10..king of the slums - Manchester boardwalk
9..the buzzcocks - truro city hall
8..gong - Glastonbury
7..the who - nynex arena
6..van Morrison - Bridgewater hall
5.. The stone roses - spike island
4..neil young - rotterdam
3..bob Dylan - Amsterdam
2. Morrissey - Liverpool royal court
1..prince - Rotterdam

I know I'm a bit late coming to this :D ....... with a handle like Unclemeat , I am a little surprised Frank Zappa isn't on your list ! I have seen most of the bands on your list over the years ,plus most of the big rock acts , and I don't think I could actually put a top 10 as such together , but I have to say the gig that really blew me away was July 4th 1976 , The Black Swan , Snig Hill , Sheffield - The Clash (their !st ever gig) and The Pistols - What a night !!!
