Fixed broken engine mounts (how-to with pics)

Hi everyone,

Today I began working on my Passat with the intention to replace the timing belt kit and water pump, however when I took the engine cover off I found the engine mounting broken and that wasn't all when I loosened the bolt at the rear of the engine, that mount was broken too, so basically the bottom bolt (which was loose) was holding the engine. I have now left the car on the ramp and looking for alternatives apart from replacing the engine block.
