Hi guys I'm a newbie the forum. I have read around but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. So here goes. I have just bought a 2010 passat cc and it came with only one remote keyfob. The Kesey key is also missing but the person I bought from has ordered that for me. The problem I'm having is that my keyfob doesn't lock or unlock the car and neither does my keyless system work. For me to lock or unlock the car I have to put the key literally next to the driver door or window and then it detects and unlocks the car. Yet when I slot the keyfob in to start the car it starts fine. I rang dealer to for replacement key and they have quoted me £250 for key and programming/coding. Any help would be much appreciated.
