Realistic Valuation in current condition

Post by stevekoz »

Some of you may've seen in for sale, but i have a 2004 B6 Audi 2.5 v6 tdi with a remap, stainless exhaust, 18" Audi Rotors, S4 Brakes, 6 spd Gearbox and its a quattro.

I've got a very intermittent knock type noise - 3 times in last 3 weeks. I think it points to camshaft or stuck valve?? I have no clue. But its got 150K on the clock and even the work to diagnose it is just too much for me to pay for right now.

Its a gorgeous car but needs someone with the time/money or knowhow to sort themselves.

It has EGR valve blancked and EML on due to this.
Has intermittent EPS/ABS light on - brake switch fault or wheel speed sensor
Knocking from top end intermittently

149000 miles
12 Months MOT
all interior extras
xenon lights
s4 brakes - discs, calipers, pads, carriers etc

What do people think its going to be worth realistically. I have had some offers (one from forum) but it seems i'm getting offered 500 is lowest! Wheels are £700 easily on their own but i don't have the space to break so i know i'm oging to make a massive loss on her. But some independent ideas of what to expect price wise would be nice. I odn't want to scare off people interested in buying but same time i need to recoup as much as possible as my family need a car!!

Let me know what you guys think.

Cheers
