After saying how pleased i am with my Passat after 5 years and only needing a rear calliper and general servicing i have had a failure today.
Started car this morning and got to end of street the i got the dreaded beep and the STOP low oil pressure! Stopped engine and and checked oil and any sign of leaks, all was fine.
Started car back up and drove steady back home and warning come on again.
Had a look on internet and brings up oil balance shaft, how ever i though this was an issue with pre 2006 cars?
My car is a 2.0 TDI 140 on a 57 reg and done 82k with service all up to date.
Anyone any recommendations on what it could be? Or where to get parts from or what am looking like having to pay?
