vw sent me a letter ?

i got a letter yesterday from vw saying my car 2010 passat cr 170 is going to be recalled when they find a soloution to the problem with emissions.when i got the car 18mths ago first thing i did was dpf removed and egr delete because of all the trouble i have had with other cars with this system. if the car goes to vw are they going to notice and say all this stuff needs putting back to original spec ? will they say your mot is invalid and tell dvla ? and what happens if i just ignore the recall ? anybody know? thanks mick
