I'm getting this rear camera delivered tomorrow and was wondering how to wire it up to my head unit. This is camera wiring and the back of the head unit itself.....
Now, when i put it in reverse without the camera installed the head unit will go blank and it says 'no signal'. This makes me think it doesn't need a trigger wire to show the rear image when I put it in reverse. So, do I just hook the live wire of the camera into the power cable for camera wire in the head unit itself?( 10 in photo). In other words will that negate the need to feed a live wire to the reverse light? Also where does the ground wire (black) go?
any help appreciated as I haven't a clue about electricals.
