Guys,
Topped up the Passat with 5W 40 oil yesterday and drove a short 10 mile drive with no problems, went to drive it this morning and the warning light message "OIL PRESSURE" Stop Engine pinged on. Checked i had not over filled it and all looks OK.
Ticks over fine without the message on restart but when you drive off it pings back on. Whats the best way to test/read the pressure to rule out a dodgy sensor or not. Its done 147K so have been waiting for something significant to go, maybe it is the pump!
